I chose this website because it presents a large amount of information and links on a single page.  This site is also interactive with the zip code display application at the top and can easily provide hyper-local weather information.  The links at the bottom also provide for a global and expanded relay of information that summarizes stories from around the world.   This site is simple and it contains multiple links.  It also has mobile and web versions that show different backgrounds.

I chose this website because it has a different presentation than most.  Rather than having a top of page navigation it uses a list with different links to the site.  This make navigation easier especially across different devices; it could open the same way on a phone as a computer.  Also the picture changing at the top could act as an extremely profitable advertising space were it not controlled by a major company.

I like this website because it is unbelievably simple.  It has a standard list, a grey background, and a linked appo showing the companies drilling locations.  I think this page is successful because of this simplicity.  Most of the employees that would need the site are not highly-educated and would probably be misdirected quite easily while searching a more complex website.  Despite this, the website communicates company goals, has a simple design and does have one useful add on, the rig finder app.
