I have always liked apple’s sleek and simple design. It is reflected in their website. The only colors are in the pictures. The backgrounds are white or black and the navigation is grey. The simplistic design gives a very professional look. It is easy to navigate. The look of the site matches the look of the product. They have AWESOME brand continuity whether it is in commercials, print, website or products.

Kendra Scott, a jewelry designer, has a very well designed website. Like Apple, the site is simple. However, the website incorporates a pop of color in the logo and in other spots around the site. The simple design allows the products to speak for themselves. The jewelry is colorful. The simple design of the site prevents all of the colors from being overwhelming. The colors pop on the simple design of the site. It complements the products just right.

Vineyard vines has a website different from the previous two I chose. They don’t have a simple sleek design. However, it appeals to the eye and target audience. It mainly has pictures of their products in use. The colors are consistent with the branding. The dark blue and grey allow the pictures to be the focal point of the pages.
