What is so interesting about the Internet?

I am Rebekah Gould. I am a PR major from San Antonio, Texas. I am really looking forward to this class!

What was most interesting, what didn’t you know before watching?

I did not realize how long of a process developing the web had taken. The video said that the development of the Internet had been going on since 1950. I vaguely remember when computers and email became popular. It seemed like it was a newly developed concept. I liked seeing step-by-step all of the problems they faced and how they overcame it. I was also surprised to find out that “E-mail” was unintentionally started as a personal application, but it took off! Now, we rely on email in our everyday lives.
