The Internet: Behind The Web

Hi everyone! My name is Miraida Gutierrez-Colon, I’m a sophomore here at Texas State and an Electronic Media major. I want to do a lot with social media and learn how to properly use languages of the web in order to make the world a better place.

The discussion about how the internet was built on an open architecture was extremely interesting, and how an internet culture developed in order to allow anyone to type anything that they would like.

Something that I didn’t know about was exactly how the “web” (or the www) legitimately came to be, and the capability to go from link to link, rather than just read emails and transfer files.
